Nusa Penida is the most photogenic island off Bali’s south-east coast, and our day trip is designed so you see the best of it without the bottlenecks that make day tours exhausting: no big-bus queues at Kelingking, no stuffy catamaran crossings, no rushed schedule.

It’s the single highest-value day from Bali. In 10 hours you’ll snorkel with manta rays, photograph Kelingking’s T-Rex cliff, wade Angel’s Billabong, and still be back at your hotel in time for dinner. The private format means the pace fits you — a longer swim with the mantas if conditions are perfect, or an extra coffee stop if the group needs a breather.
What the day actually looks like
Pre-dawn pickup (yes, it’s early). 45-minute drive to Sanur. 40-minute fast-boat crossing. Then four viewpoints and a snorkel stop, with a proper Bali lunch in the middle. Your guide adjusts the running order based on tide and crowd flow — some days we’ll snorkel first, others we’ll chase the best light at Kelingking. The overall shape is always the same; the sequence flexes.
Small print worth knowing
- Manta sightings are reliable but not guaranteed. The local operators we work with cancel snorkel stops if the current is unsafe — we’ll swap in an extra viewpoint instead.
- Fast-boat crossings can feel bumpy. If you’re prone to motion sickness, tell us and we’ll bring ginger tablets.
- Kelingking’s steep descent to the beach isn’t part of this tour. Too many injuries reported from that path. You’ll get the same iconic photo from the safer upper viewpoints.
- Not suitable for guests with back problems, heart conditions, or advanced pregnancy due to the boat crossing.

Pre-dawn pickup from your hotel lobby. Please be ready 10 minutes early. Your driver will text ahead.

Sanur fast-boat terminal
Duration: 45 min
Short check-in and board the speedboat. Crossing to Nusa Penida takes 30–40 minutes.

Manta Point snorkeling
Duration: 90 min
Snorkel at Manta Point — known for reliable year-round manta ray sightings. Our guide briefs the group on safe distance and photo etiquette before entering the water.

Kelingking Beach (T-Rex viewpoint)
Duration: 60 min
Iconic T-Rex shaped cliff viewpoint. We skip the descent to the beach itself (too many accidents) and spend time at the safer upper-cliff photo stops.

Broken Beach & Angel's Billabong
Duration: 60 min
Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) natural arch + Angel's Billabong tidal pool. Wading in the Billabong depends on tide and surf — your guide makes the call on safety.
